Learning How To Hypnotize Someone
I can think of a lot of advantages to learning how to hypnotize someone. For some people - hypnosis can help with weight loss, for other it's about breaking the smoking habit. Me, I’m looking for a way to make things easier at work.
Hypnosis may have gotten a bad rap - it doesn’t have to be a bad thing. It’s not always about mind control over someone. I’m really just looking for a way to create a persuasive connection - to develop rapport. I need a way to shift my manager's focus from negative to positive.
It's possible to use the power of words and ideas to hypnotize someone during the course of a normal conversation. In learning about conversational hypnosis, you will find there are some core components. Methods may vary, but to hypnotize someone - you’ll need to learn about the following:
Clearing the mind - you have to start with a clear slate. To hypnotize someone, become an expert at teaching others to quiet and clear their thoughts.
Relaxation - You’ll need to be able to help your subject relax. If someone isn’t relaxed and feeling at ease, they’re almost impossible to hypnotize effectively.
Breathing - It may seem basic, but proper breathing goes right along with mind clearing and relaxation. Deep breathing exercises can help put a person into the right state of mind for hypnosis.
Thought Re-framing - Critical to learning how to hypnotize someone is knowing what to say, how to say it AND when to say it. This is where proper hypnosis training can come into play.
So - does knowing how to hypnotize someone give you some kind of advantage? I’m still learning - I’ll let you know if anything improves at work.
